Fly from Tana to airport in Maroantsetra where guide will meet and assist you.
Then transfer from airport about 45mn to the harbor and boat transfer from Maroantsetra to Farankarainana to boat jetty. We visit
Andanofotsy village and then we walk along the sea coastal, sometimes we across a river by pirogue ferry. Continuation to Farankarainana, usually see the Ring tail vontsira around the camp site to be welcome us. Lunch in the camp, leisure day this afternoon. Breakfast and day visit of the rainforest of the park.
Masoala National Park consists of rainforest with a rare endemic wildlife.
Several species of lemurs are found like Red ruffed Lemur and white fronted lemur.
The site is also popular for bird watching by the presence of unusual the Helmet Vanga,
an enormous vanga with an enormous blue bill Vanga and this is Masoala’s star, parson’s chameleon…Lunch at the hotel.

Breakfast and early in the morning to discover the bird watching in Masoala National Park.
Most every years we are even lucky enough to see a nest of this marvelous bird.
Some of the more commonly find Red-breasted Coua, Helmet Vanga, Brown Mesite,
and handsome Scaly and Short-legged Ground-Rollers.
However, our ramblings will set off with higher hopes, as we also stand a good chance of finding the elusive Bernier’s Vanga, which prefers pandanus palm swamps. Although sightings are not likely, the peninsula is also home to the magnificent Madagascar scops Owl, Madagscar nightjar…

Picnic lunch based on seafood on the beach. Afternoon, visit plantation of vanilla, coffee, clove, pepper and traditional dance and sing. Breakfast and transfer by the boat lasts about 2h if we’re lucky might to see dolphins and hump backed whales during July to two weeks in September. This is pristine lowland rain forest island 5.20 square kilometers and the best place to see black and white ruffed lemur and white fronted brown lemur.
Nosy Mangabe area’s reptile and amphibian fauna are equally dramatic; among the myriad of colorful and photogenic frogs, chameleons, and geckos we may encounter are the Panther chameleon (furcifer pardalis), Antongil leaf chameleon (brookesiapereransii), which is the second smallest chameleon in the world, Climbing mantella (mantellaleavigata), green day-geckos, and incredibly camouflaged Common leaf-tailed gecko (uroplatus fimbruatus)
