Concours musical de audrey: Cascada (by @mandine)

Si je devais me réincarner en une star, ce serai bien en la chanteuse du groupe Cascada: Nathalie Horler.

Une petite biographie:

Cascada est un groupe allemand composé de Manuel Reuter (alias Manian), de Yann Peifer (Yanou) et de la chanteuse Nathalie Horler, originaires de Bonn.

Cette dernière rencontre les deux acolytes après avoir enregistré des maquettes avec différents DJs. Miracle, le premier single du trio fait un véritable carton dans son pays d’origine et la machine se met en marche. L’Europe s’enflamme alors au son de Cascada. Son premier disque Everytime We Touch, sort dans les bacs à la fin de l’année 2006.

Passant du handsup traditionnel qui est le plus souvent présent dans les remixes, à la pop commerciale, le groupe est suffisamment diversifié pour toucher un large public international.

La seule ambassadrice du groupe face aux médias est Nathalie Horler; Manuel Reuter n’est jamais présent sur les archives visuelles de cascada.

Le titre How do you do, édité en vinyle sous le label zooland de Manian, atteignit la neuvième place des charts de singles aux États Unis. Son titre Everytime we touche connut en premier le succès en france, après la production du clip.

Mais on va s'interesser plus particulièrement à la chanteuse:

Cascada, de son vrai nom Natalie Horler, est née le 23 septembre 1981 à Bonn (Allemagne). Grâce à son père, musicien de jazz, elle connait l'ambiance des studios dès son plus jeune âge et n'hésite pas à s'amuser à enregistrer de petites chansons. C'est sa rencontre avec les producteurs Manuel Reuter et Yann Peifer qui va tout changer. En 2006 l'album "Everytime We Touch" fait un carton dans tous les charts du monde et propulse Cascada sur le devant de la scène. Bien que Cascada soit considéré comme un groupe, c'est toujours Natalie Horler qui se présente face aux médias et assure la communication du trio. En 2007, le second album de Cascada, "Perfect Day", rencontre un beau succès et laisse espérer que le groupe va continuer sur sa lancée pour nous livrer sa musique encore longtemps.
